Shower Glass & Window Replacement FAQs
What services does High Desert Window and Glass provide?
All ServicesWe specialize in frameless shower doors and enclosures, whole home retrofit window replacement, and sliding glass and patio doors for homes across the High Desert. Our commercial team supplies and installs window packages, storefront, and shower glass for builders and general contractors.
How much does a frameless shower door cost in Hesperia?
Frameless door and panel enclosures typically start around $1,600 installed, and 90 degree corner enclosures start around $2,000. Larger enclosures, specialty glass, and premium hardware finishes are quoted after a free in home measurement.
What is a retrofit window?
A retrofit window is a replacement window built to fit inside your existing window frame, so the stucco and drywall around it stay intact. It is the cleanest way to upgrade an entire home of older aluminum or single pane windows in Hesperia, Victorville, and Apple Valley.
Which window brands do you carry?
We carry Milgard, Simonton, Windor, Crystal Pacific, and Coeur d'Alene Window Company, and we are a Milgard Certified Installer. After measuring your home, we recommend the two lines that best fit your goals.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer financing on retrofit windows, sliding glass doors, and frameless shower enclosures for as little as $150 down, so you can upgrade your whole home now and pay over time. Ask about financing options during your free in home consultation.
What are the best windows for High Desert wind, dust, and heat?
Dual pane vinyl windows with Low E glass and tight weatherstripping perform best in High Desert conditions. The right series depends on how long you plan to stay in the home, your design preferences, and the frame depth your openings require.
What happens during a free in home consultation?
We call ahead, then spend 15 to 30 minutes discussing your goals and measuring every opening. You then receive an emailed, itemized proposal with product, labor, tax, brochures, and warranty information. No pressure and no obligation.
Do you work with builders and general contractors?
Yes. Our commercial division bids new construction throughout Southern California and Arizona, including window packages, storefront systems, and shower glass for residential and multifamily builders.
